5 stars doesn’t quite capture how much we loved working with Custom One!

Custom One recently completed our porch, and it has become our favorite room in the entire house. What started out feeling a little like “Mission Impossible” turned into a space we absolutely love — thanks to their creativity, craftsmanship, and willingness to find solutions when we weren’t sure there was a way forward. They even submitted the project for an award, which made us smile because we think it deserves one!

What really stood out was how much they cared. From design through production and all the many decisions in between, their team was thoughtful, thorough, disciplined, and incredibly communicative. We’ve done plenty of projects on our house, and honestly, we wish every contractor worked this way.

Ana was amazing — responsive, proactive, and always on top of our requests. She helped us troubleshoot with vendors right through the finish line. The financial side was equally impressive: budgets, change orders, adjustments, and expectations were always transparent and communicated clearly and on time.

Hogan was a dream to work with on the production side and even helped us tackle a few other handyman projects around the house. And the crew itself was fantastic. They were respectful of our home, incredibly efficient, and somehow managed to get a tremendous amount done without disrupting our lives.

We couldn’t recommend Custom One more highly. If you’re considering a project that matters to you and want to know you’ll be in good hands, hire these people. You’ll be treated like royalty.

We recently completed a kitchen remodel with Custom One, and overall we're thrilled with the result. Like any project of this scope there were some bumps along the way, but the team's response to them made all the difference.

Hogan, our project manager, was responsive and straightforward, and consistently went to bat for us to make sure things got done right. Our designer, Ana, brought great ideas and stayed engaged through some tricky decisions. When something didn't go as planned, this team owned it and fixed it — that kind of collaboration is what made the project a success.

WE LOVE Custom One Renovation! Before and after is below - we had water damage in our original bathroom, lots of wear and tear on our cabinetry. Custom One brought a designer to the table who came up with a brilliant idea to open our space, we worked with vendors who were responsive, and the communication was fabulous. Truly a joy: a contractor who over-communicates, who fixes issues as they come up, who spots problems before I even imagined it was a problem. The attention to detail and quality here is like nothing I've ever experienced. From the initial project design, to every step of the permitting process, to absolute perfection in performance. We just wrapped up a four month remodeling project with Custom One. It included: five sets of custom cabinetry, ceiling texture, paint, new floors/carpets throughout the house, two completely new bathrooms, a garage refresh (doors, heater, floors), new doors, trim, casing, lighting, and lots of other small details. From the beginning they were incredibly responsive, communicative, and detail-oriented. They guided us through decision-making with helpful information, provided an in-house designer who made suggestions that truly tied the whole house together, and got each phase of the project done either on time or ahead of schedule. When we came across obstacles they came up with creative solutions and frequently went above and beyond their contracted responsibilities. The people were very kind and easy to get along with; you can tell they care about their job and work very hard. We considered our home to be a remodeling challenge with each room having its own unique scope and we came away with a home that was cohesive and purposeful in its design. We had an excellent experience with Custom One. From the initial design process to the final walkthrough, everything was seamless and well organized. The project stayed on schedule, the job site was always clean, and every contractor we worked with was professional, polite, and a pleasure to have in our home.

Hogan was fantastic to work with and consistently kept us informed on where things stood throughout the process. Olivia was wonderful during the design phase—she offered great recommendations and was quick to pivot and update renderings whenever we changed our minds. Reid truly went above and beyond, even helping with cabinet lighting that wasn’t part of the original scope and taking extra time to ensure everything turned out perfectly.

We chose Custom One after considering a handful of similar category  remodelers. The reason we chose COR was because of the people.  And in the end, the reason I am giving the experience 5 stars is because of the people. Leah Kovar was our designer. Her work is innovative and she was so fun and easy to work with. A true gem. John Miller - I knew it would get done if John was involved.  This was a large project; an addition, gut remodel kitchen, full bath,  laundry room, entry and all new windows and doors. The finished project is beautiful. The construction is quality and  we came in on budget.
